The Feelings Activity Book for Children

The Feelings Activity Book was designed for teachers and caregivers to help children, ages 4-8, learn emotional self-regulation strategies through engaging activities and play.
Working closely with the editor and illustrator, Marie Hermansson, we conceptualized scenes to depict children experiencing common emotions, both in interactions with others and internally. By mimicking these scenarios, children can better identify when to apply these lessons.

The book's interior is filled with a wide variety of activities, both on and off the page. We aimed to create a template that keeps shorter activities engaging while allowing ample space for longer, more hands-on activities that encourage children to draw, write, paint, and color.

Hermansson was an invaluable partner in creating this book. Her illustrations effectively convey complex emotions in ways that are easily understandable to children, all while maintaining relatable and adorable characters.
